Welcome to this International Digital Forensics Conference that is to explore the current state of practice and research.

Most organisations have a working plan for the protection of assets and the security of the Information System. However, Forensic Readiness is often the poor cousin of IS Security and few are adequately prepared for an event. The attention deficit reaches to Board levels and yet the risk can be treated by awareness and then the appropriate actions. Employee theft, Privacy Disclosure, Litigation, and Corporate Archival retention are all events in focus.
